@spats ▶ There will be always duplicates. Of course, if a pro developer team creates a brand new site, it would be solved 😀 but we have limits.
Currently, the easiest method is to delete a duplicate blog post or request now and then (and btw the community helps a lot too).
OK - so all was looking good until today. 🙁
Absolutely not a fan of having the total points obscuring the request images.
Also images are smaller, hence harder to see [and zooming to make images bigger gets the same issue already mentioned, the green banner grows to cover up to 50% of screen]Now everything has to be opened to get an idea of what the item is - time consuming and annoying not being able to view properly.
Rant over - still a better system, but this needs sorting [and banner size] 🙂
Whilst it is still in need of refinement, the smaller images in the request section are a visual cue you are in the request area rather than the blog post area.

The edited one is much better but i think it should also be either in the bottom left corner of the image or under the item name/title in the center/left imo.
If the request is filled, then the points should be replaced by "Filled" instead of being under it or perhaps if not replaced, it should be on the right sideI also wish the size of the images/posts would be standardized
Okay, folks I would like to get a little feedback about this version:

- The 3 item in a row was too big and the 8 item in a row was too small -> Now this version is 6 in a row
- The Points sum is semi-transparent and smallerBUT Please note:
- We can't force a fixed image size, because it would kill the easy method's purpose (and the vendors creating random-sized cover images)
- Because of the random-sized images we can't place the Points sum under the image or in the image's corner (the Points sum is an overlay on the column, not on the image)
- Showing only FILLED (when FILLED) in place of the Points sum was added to the wishlist6 in a row is a big improvement.
Able to get an idea of the item without having to open each to view.Do not see the benefit of having points shown - just keep that for after having opened the request - more likely to be interested based on image than points value.

I have made the image size standardized to 300px height
also if the request is filled, it will only show 'FILLED'
and finally set the points/filled opacity to 0.8

The only thing left I suggest to add a colored border (blue?) to indicate if the user has added points to any of the item
Lemme know if you want me to post the code@jacky Sure, I forward every code bit to Hunter to check it out 🙂 But the standard image size is screwing up the image ratio (basically this was the first reason why we didn't want to mess with the pics) - and I'm sure that the others would complain about the distorted images a lot too 🙂
It would be great to have a way to jump in on an already filled request that is the filler does not want posted/scheduled to the main board.
Without this, it would just disappear in 48hrs and would have to be reposted all over again, wait for a filler to fill the request which may or may not happen until even more ppl contribute points.
If we could just jump in and 'pay' the 500 for a filled request before it is deleted, it would speed things up greatly, prevent redundant requests re-filling the board, and get the filler even more points than they initially expected.
It's a win-win-win all around.

@3ddazcreations Adding Filters is also in the works 🙂@fuzzy3000 likes the items listed large, I like them small. I'm assuming there are others that fall into these categories as well. Is there a way to make it an option for users? A drop down option beside search or something so that each user has it looking the way they want for them?
