DazToMaya V1.2

DazToMaya V1.2
What is DazToMaya?
DazToMaya is a plugin to transfer DAZ Studio current scene to Maya with 2 clicks, solving common problems between import/export, to get the best results in the fastest way and with the less effort possible.

Who is this for?
For all 3D artists using Maya and/or Daz Studio. It can be for big projects, or just for fun, to practice animating skills, to make cool images for your portfolio, to present an idea to a customer in a fast and quality way, etc…You will get instant benefits.

If you are a Maya user you can add a new dimension to your workflow sending figures/props from Daz Studio, and start animating/posing your character with Maya’s HumanIK, chosing Arnold Render, etc.

Thanks fly out to bazuka for fixing (disabling) the need to register 😀

*NB Not sure if this works on more recent versions of Maya.

  1. Sorry, kinda of a nood but I read the how to install PDF it said plugin shows on dim after purchase. I opened dim. Can't see anything. I had to copy the daztomaya files I downloaded here to respective Daz3D n Maya folders. It worked well in Daz3D but the problem is Maya. Each time I try to load the plugin. It gives me an error. Help Anyone?

  2. To manually install

    Everything in the folder
    DAZ Studio_4.5;4.x Public Build;4.x Private BuildscriptssupportLayLo3DGenesis8ForMaya
    Goes into:
    C:Program FilesDAZ 3DDAZStudio4scriptssupportLayLo3DGenesis8ForMaya

    Everything in
    UserDocsAutodeskmayaplug-ins
    Goes into
    Documentsmayaplug-ins

    Everything in this folder
    AppDataDAZ 3DStudio4RunOnce
You should be able to double click and they will open Daz Studio (if it's not open) and set up the scripts inside the script menu so they can be ran from Daz Studio. You can also drag them from the folder onto the Daz Studio window and it should execute them as well.

    Everything in the
    SharedDocs
is the same as what's in the UserDocs it's just the name of the folder where the files go on Mac OS?
