Hello, I have what is probably a dumb question for most of you, what "normals" as in
what difference does it make as I cant see it myself

thanksNormals will usually change the texture of a thing. In a case like pantyhose, it's probably going to be a really subtle thing that doesn't show up outside of a preview render or something like that. If you find the image file, you can usually zoom in to get some idea what it's going to look like.
