I have lots of custom characters i have created.
Do we have a section for sharing our files?
Would be fun to trade with each other, stuff that we have made/done.
For example my take on Hailee Steinfeld

A nice custom character indeed. And a refreshing change I might add.
Not sure how to share these, perhaps Tomsk or another member can answer that.

April 8, 2018 at 9:37 PM #563093I'd love to learn how to create the skin textures. I often find myself going in and having to edit seams and edges where skin textures don't match.

Go to YewTube and see Sickleyield's skin texturing tutorial.
She uses 3DCoat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0zdRwnXdlQApril 8, 2018 at 9:44 PM #563108Super idea.
I'm not sure how that would best work.
I would suggest that there are two viable options.
If you aren't bothered about points credit, post them in the free resources forum.
If you are looking for points credit for them, perhaps it might be possible to upload them in the blog like a commercial product, but that would need to be discussed & cleared with @monkseye, @tomsk & @hunter
🙂
April 8, 2018 at 11:01 PM #563172I would like to see a close-up of her face if you could/would please 🙂
April 8, 2018 at 11:24 PM #563215You surely have some serious skillz @magtech2018. That skin tone is very nicely done.
April 8, 2018 at 11:27 PM #563217If I may be so bold as to suggest, "why not make tutorial videos and post them as well?"
April 8, 2018 at 11:41 PM #563226c'mon @Magtech2018. You are teasing us. That's a picture. Just kidding.
But don't insult your character. She looks MUCH BETTER than Hailee Steinfeld.
You do have talent for sure. There are sites you can post your stuff for free.
There is an Art Showcase section and a free section here. But you need to make sure you maintain your something-something rights. I can't remember the name has to do with art. but that word(or words) escape me. It's what disney used to maintain mickey mouse past the date. Not copyright but even more powerful. Arrgh. I'm going to remember that and not just the interactive license copyrights that daz3d tries to trick you out of either.
But there I go again. Don't I have some nerve? Imagine me telling someone with talent on a sharing site to "make sure you remember your rights."
I'm usually not a hypocrite until Wednesday. But please. I've seen talent in my lifetime and you truly need to capitalize on that while you are young. Think of it as your retirement plan since your generation may never see social security. -
