As Lara glances to her left, out of the corner of her eye she spots a threat, she reaches slowly with her right hand for an arrow as she prepares to glide that arrow, she notices the enemy rapidly eyes his gun, so she yells, I dare you....... He knows he doesn't stand a chance so he puts his arms up in the air.
It's been more than 2 years since my last 3D work, I hope you like this one.

I was referring to the games franchise, not the movies. I never liked how they portrayed the concept of Tomb Raider in the films
By the way, her name IS Laura Cruz. Even Guy Miller realized it needed to be bleached to be accepted and pronounce it Lara Croft. I always remember that because my first love was named Laura but she was a second generation Polish girl (we were in first grade).
Alas, there are still barriers in the Art world as well. Take Boris Vallejo for example. Without his perspective, we'd all be having contests on whom could mimic
Walt what's=his=name contests. I love your work @rlcwallpapers but @yanmartyn your tribute to the Great Boris Vallejo captures the very reason there are sites and art as we see here. I'm going to start saving up my points to host a contest next January 8 and call it "A Tribute to Boris Vallejo" because any art inspired by him or mimicking his is in a class all by itself.True enough. But, then again, the name wouldn't change the impact the game, and the character, as it got developed for the entire decade until Aquare Enix bought Eidos. And, as an example for that, here's the rebooted lara Croft, that has little to nothing in common with her previous versions. And, I'm not referring on how she looks, but on her character. She went from a fearless, larger than reality heroine, that would take gunfire, death defying jumps and stunts, and out of this world enemies, as "another day at work", to a "heroine" that's constantly bordering between complete terror, and desperateion-driven bravery.
Thank you for the Valleo tribute comment. Truth is, I was very skeptical about actually posting it, or not, though. Erotic art is often too close to pornography, and, I was often approached to be comissioned all sorts of bizarre fetish scenes after someone saw a pinup of mine in flickr, or deviantart, or wherever.@locololo & @yanmartyn : I didn't knew Boris Vallejo before Yan posted his artwork. It was I love about the Zone and contest. I have to look up stuff and I usually discover amazing things. Thank you for posting your image in my contest, it is a great pic! Very tasteful, not pornographic at all. Also, late Tomb Raider games are not as fun and epic as they used to be. I want the tough gal she use to be.
@rlcwallpapers : Hey! Great work. Don't stop doing 3D work. 😀That's probably why it is called Art. It's telling us what we are feeling or thinking in a different perspective. Some people are eloquent in language, some in music. But an Artist has the advantage of interpreting it visually - appalling or appealing.
It's Art. There; the artist said it. Deal with it. Viva Boris Vallejo!That Boris pic is actually one of my faves of his( and a supurb piece of fan art). Frazetta will always be the master and my GOD, but Boris is a close 2nd.
The only criticism I would have is that the arrows are too high and not fully in her quiver. If you look at the one in her hand then match that against the length of the arrows you see behind her only about 1/3 of the arrow is in the quiver.
Other than that, great picture. And yes Frank and Boris rule. Spent my youth mimicking their art styles.
Have you even see the animated film Fire and Ice - art work by one of them - I cannot remember which. Worth viewing if you are a fan of their work.

Thanks, yes Boris is one of my idols , I have lots of his works in my PC same as I love Nigel's work different genre but still both great artists. Thanks for the link to Yan's work indeed he is very good.
