I just clicked "Show Download" for Wynnter Elf, the points were removed from my account, but the page no longer exists. Obviously, when I opened that page up earlier this morning it was there, and then it was removed. Shouldn't this be checked before removing the points?
I've encountered a number of pages lately that don't last too long. I think most of them are duplicates, but the most recent cat for G8F appears to have been renamed.
I'm not terribly worried about the points, but I thought it was worth pointing out (no pun intended 🙂 ) in case someone can fix the bug.
I tend to open up links in new tabs throughout the day/weekend and then download them when I have time to search to make sure I don't already have them, decide if I need them, etc. So, it's not uncommon for me to have a tab that stays open for days. So, this may be something that only affects me because of my usage pattern.

Reporting Dead Links and Duplicate Posts
(https://zonegfx.com/forums/topic/reporting-duplicate-posts/)I think, in this particular case, the post was made public then it was pulled back again, and then it is now public again. Of course, I have to spend another 50 points to get access to it, which kinda sucks, but...whatever. It's not the end of the world. However, this really should be considered a bug, since I shouldn't have been able to complete the process if the page wasn't valid.
Points were hard to come by till i started posting items.
Now ive got enough to use my points to request items.
100 free points a day is pretty nice still. 10 items a week
or you can search for bundles and get 100 character withnone click. Id rather buy a nice item to share and get pounts than to buy points. sharing is a win win situation.Fulfilling other folks posted requests is another good way to build up your account balance.

It can be quite annoying spending points on a post but if you have already paid for that item, you should not have to pay again

From time to time you may wish to download something from one of our members only to find that after you’ve clicked the button for a download link, that the links are dead. Here are the steps to help resolve this occurrence.
– In the first instance we ask that you contact the member that uploaded the product and ask for an updated link.
– If they cannot or will not supply a new link, please contact our Admin or one of our Moderators for assistance*
– If a link cannot be replaced then you are eligible for a points refund equal to the points you originally paid.
– Refundable points will be drawn from the original posters point total by our site Admin and transferred to your account.Please note that due to everyone being in different time zones, there may be a short delay for any applicable refund(s).
