What's the policy on requesting newly released updates of products where the original is already on the blog? For that matter, what's the policy on making a new blog post for that sort of thing? This is assuming the update wasn't itself released as an independent product, but is instead only downloadable at the source to buyers of the original product.
I don't know that there is a policy, as such.
Whilst it would be nice, I certainly wouldn't rely on an uploader to update an already posted item.
They may not have access to the updated files in any case.:0/
