Smooth Operator v1.8.0 (Blender)
Smooth Operator is an SDF voxel remesher built on the new SDF grid nodes in Blender 5.1 — the actual OpenVDB level-set toolkit — wrapped into a single live modifier that a Voxel Size typo can't freeze.
Requires Blender 5.1 or newer. Older versions refuse to enable it with a version message — the nodes it's built on don't exist there.
Blender's stock Voxel Remesh is OpenVDB under the hood, but it exposes none of the polish: no filters, no material transfer, and shading that ripples. Smooth Operator rebuilds the pipeline node by node and hands you the controls the toolkit always had.
