G9 Zero Expression by Regions
Stop resetting the entire face just to fix one expression.
This script lets you zero the entire face or only selected facial regions on any Genesis 9 figure. No plugins, no expression presets, and no manually hunting down dozens of sliders. Just choose the regions you want to reset, and everything else stays exactly as it is.
What it does
Resets the entire face to a neutral expression
Resets individual facial regions:
Eyes
Eyebrows
Mouth
Jaw
Cheeks
Nose
Ears
Supports resetting multiple regions at once
Leaves every unselected facial region completely untouched
Doesn't affect body pose, camera framing, or any non-facial controls
Why it's useful
Most expression presets are full-face expressions.
That's fine when you're starting from scratch—but once you've spent time refining an expression, they're frustrating to work with.
Maybe you love the smile but hate the eyebrows.
Maybe the eyes look perfect, but the mouth is too exaggerated.
Maybe only the jaw needs fixing.
Normally your only options are to manually hunt through dozens (sometimes hundreds) of expression sliders or throw away the entire facial expression and start over.
This script solves exactly that problem.
Instead of rebuilding an expression from scratch, simply reset the regions you don't want. Everything else remains untouched, letting you refine expressions in seconds instead of minutes.
The core use case: editing instead of rebuilding
Think of your facial expression as a collection of independent regions instead of one inseparable preset.
Remove an exaggerated mouth while keeping the eyes and brows
Reset only the eyebrows to completely change the emotion
Neutralize the jaw without affecting the smile
Clear the eyes while preserving every other facial feature
Mix neutral and expressive regions until the expression looks exactly right
The result is a workflow that feels far more flexible than traditional full-face presets.
Other use cases
Cleaning up expression presets
Fixing unwanted facial deformations after pose or animation imports
Removing overdriven morphs without losing the rest of the expression
Creating subtle facial variations for renders
Returning selected facial regions to their default state before making further adjustments
Works in DAZ Studio's native script format. Run it directly from the Content Library like any other script.
