I’d like to suggest adding a bookmarking feature for pages with 3D resources — at least for users who donate or subscribe.
Sometimes you want to save a resource to come back to later instead of searching for it again every time. I think many users would be willing to pay for this feature, as long as the subscription price is reasonable.
But your browser already allows you to make bookmarks. Just set up a bookmark folder as a ZoneGfx 'wish list'. For free.
But I have to open and go through every page to find what I need. Whereas I suggest doing it in a single-page format where the covers are immediately visible.
Had the option a lonnnggg time ago - but systems changed and storage was given as a reason to remove it - and save as mentioned above.
Depending on your browser, there are bookmark manager add-ons/extensions available that allow you to create bookmarks with a thumbnail of the page. Or to add your own.
For the hell of it, I literally just now added 'Visual Bookmarks' and tried it out. I don't normally use a browser 'homepage' that includes images; I use a dropdown text list. Regardless, I made a "ZoneGfx Wishlist" bookmark folder. I saved the bookmarks as usual. Voila! I have a single page (like a browser homepage) filled with thumbnailed bookmarks.
I didn't like that it used the entire page as the thumbnail. So I copied the product image on the ZoneGfx page, and edited (pasted it to) the bookmark. Fixed. It's certainly not as simple as ticking a box on the webpage, but it's close.
I don't know if I'll keep this bookmark set up, but it looks good and works well. Thanks for inspiring the idea.
