Folks should browse the Daz forums once a day. There's some 'interesting' subjects being discussed and I'm surprised that AH (asshole Haseltine) hasn't deleted this thread yet.

    So, who's the winner?

The older one seems to be the best. The newer one undoes some of what the first one does.

I'll assume DAZ no longer tests anything and prefer sales over quality.
I forgot. They've been doing that for years.

Whats the actual debate in that? 2 third party scripts are non compatible with each other?
Someone was dumb enough to think you could run one of top of each other to save more memory?

Both script are reducing textures size. Did he really thought running the second script would cut memory usage? How about running one on top of each other multiple time? If I run both script on each other, lets say 200 times, do you think ill reach 0 memory usage?

    Yeah... no.

Weirdest part is, if you really want to save RAM usage via texture size reduction, you can just get Microsoft PowerToys and use the Image Resizer - it's faster, free(!), provides better compression quality, and has a lot more options.
