me and a friend we where talking about growing up and the big wheel and we said if we ever
see a kid with a big wheel we would pay him to let us ride down a big hill just one ride ea, youth again .....i can still skate board and long board and bmx and never broke a arm or leg
but others diddid you ever get that feeling of trying a hobbies from your past that had to do with wheels of some kind or anything else

I remember buying one for my youngest son. Scared the daylights out of me when he rode down cement stairs.
I was a touch too old for those but my regular old bicycle provided plenty of thrills and possible death and mayhem. I still bike (a LOT! 12,373kms in 2024!) but have learned restraint. When going downhill I chicken out at around 35 kph. One of my biking buddies took a tumble this fall and cracked his hip. I'm still taking him out twice a week for groceries and he's still using a cane. We heal a lot slower as we age.
They where building an overpass not far from our subdivision when I was a kid and we used to scream down the sides on weekends when there where no workers there. I'm still flabbergasted that none us got killed or badly busted. It was just blind stupid luck. No one wore helmets back then either.
