I was over in F95 the other day and looked at the massive pile of Vam models they have. Many are converted for use in Studio and they have a free tool to convert non-perverted....er...converted models over to Studio format. I grabbed one cutesy model and am wondering how well they work. I don't have high expectations, especially for the props and interiors.
You have me somewhat curious now - let me know how it works out for you.
I do know that a huge percentage of VAM models are converted from Genesis 1 and 2 (and some from G3), and that's why I never considered them worth bothering over.
That said, Kemono has gigatons of VAM models as well, so if that conversion tool works, it might be worth looking into.

I found all those VAM models following the lead of your freebie posts regarding Kemono models for Daz. There's a LOT of them, almost all of which are cutesy-wootsy Asian inspired game or anime girls. Once you've seen one, you've seen a trillion of them. There's doesn't seem to be any scenery or interiors that's not unusably simplistic (for us) and darn little of it. There's plenty of animations, all of which involve sex. From what I saw, the whole genre is geared towards socially stunted young males who have no life that's not online and spend it looking at porn, gaming and then looking at more porn. VAM lets these maladjusted recluses have relationships and a sex life....of sorts.
For us it's a waste.
I find it troubling that there's soooooo much of it and it's so popular. In a way this might be one answer to our overpopulation problem.Edit: those where @frank22's posts weren't they?
The few I looked into, I always found to be lo-rez at best, but that's the draw for me.
I'll explain; I figured that a few of these may be useful for exactly that - background lo-rez figures similar to that massive Humano dump @frank22 (I think it was him?) uploaded. Nothing far-distant, but more like semi-blurred background figures, like in a busy restaurant or shopping mall type of distance away. The Humano lo-rez figures are great for this, but there's not a lot of them out there and they cost a TON of money (and I hate-hate-hate the billboard-based lo-rez sets, even if they are 1 or 2 polys each! I mean, they're okay in a pinch, but lighting and shaders always irritate like a low-grade hemorrhoid would.)
I'm not jazzed to convert the BDSM-wearing or loli figures, but those with at least some modicum of normal clothing and appearance may be useful.
So, all that said, which forum has the VAM-to-DS converter on F95?

There's a pile of anime game shit there too but it's tempered by a lot more 'regular'(?) items. I've grabbed a couple of impressive interiors I hope to convert for Studio.
There's a LOT of Blender stuff.I kinda remember that @pooper.
Conversion for DS use is quite easy, with a few tweaks like specularity and saturation, and converting the surface/s to DS shader.
It's certainly is a big RAM saver compared to using DS figures for your background people.
