Has anyone noticed that the very expensive Unreal Engine (UE) assets have been dominating the posts lately?
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy using UE5, but it can be overwhelming! I primarily use DAZ, so I wonder if we could have a separate page for UE, Vue, and other programs while keeping the main page focused on DAZ, Poser, and Blender.
I know I suggest a lot, but sifting through the UE and Vue assets can be frustrating. I’m just voicing my frustrations. This site really helps me. Thank you!
March 17, 2025 at 10:36 PM #2122126While I personally am an Unreal Engine enjoyer and don't mind seeing a lot of UE posts, I agree that it can be frustrating to wade through a slew of posts for a program you don't use (I sometimes have this problem with Vue and iClone/Reallusion stuff). Some sort of filtering based on program used would certainly be helpful.
March 24, 2025 at 8:12 AM #2122848I love the stuff, one downside though, after a snail pace download some files won't open. Trying to contact the uploader sadly no reply.

I know you have some experience with AI work (not quite like Frank), so using Unreal Engine (UE) should be enjoyable. However, that depends on whether you want to create games or professional videos. I understand your perspective. Unreal Engine requires significantly more time compared to most other programs, which can limit your output. In contrast, tools like DAZ, AI, or Blender allow you to produce complete stories more quickly and with good quality.Anyway, this misses my original post about making a filter for UE, Iclone, and similar programs.
March 24, 2025 at 4:11 PM #2122893I don't mind it. I do agree it can be annoying at times. But it gets me to think about grabbing stuff made for other products and see what I can do with it.
March 24, 2025 at 10:42 PM #2122935That's the spirit!
March 25, 2025 at 2:10 AM #2122947I think the environments are great but I've little time for animation and no desire to try and make a game. A few hours at most to play with digital barbies and pop out a render. With life stuff even that's getting more difficult to find. I'm to lazy to try and learn anything else and if I leave Daz it will be for AI and I'm in no hurry for AI. It's probably whining and not being greatful for free stuff but I'd like to see separate sections for different content.
