Boney M FFS... there's a lot I miss about the 70s but Boney M certainly isn't one of them 🙁 .
Things I miss - small government, nicking off to the pub during school lunch break, no mobile phones, 70s pron, Apollo, no SM, Karens were just girls called Karen, I could go on...Sorry Frank 🙂
Just popped up , triggered by the word bump...
What I miss most....the way people interacted. No short fuses, no cancel culture. I think we were a lot more laid back in those days, and we didn't condem what others did.+++ Gaver, basically there's now a ton of people obsessed with what others are doing. Today's nihilistic so-called Libertarians who don't trust anyone among the worst. Live and let live I say... it takes all sorts [to make a world].
70's fashions where horrible as where 70's cars. Early implementation of pollution controls sucked all the power out of engines, and the most popular interior colour was brown...uhg! Women's formal wear was cursed with that most hideous design theme, the empire waist. Music was great though, Joni Mitchell (my muse) was at her peak then.
