August 10, 2024 at 8:00 pm #2086202I just dont find her attractive.
Everything else looks nice
August 11, 2024 at 5:29 am #2086253can't argue about taste 😉
August 12, 2024 at 7:09 am #2086366Yeah we each have our own perception of beauty and likes/dislikes. I have a friend that like "meaty" women.
I would suggest to you that their is a general consensus on what people agree is beautiful. You can see it in Daz model offerings, AI art, Comic books, Movies, TV shows, Magazines, ect...
August 12, 2024 at 12:53 pm #2086397I never followed the crowd, I like what I like, no matter what an other person thinks. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder n'est pas?
Would be so boring( as it is at the moment in my humble opinion), if everyone looks the same.August 12, 2024 at 4:03 pm #2086420Some people dress up in fox or rabbit suits.
Technically your women have 5 fingers, one mouth, 2 eyes, hair, ect... so the are very similar to other women. Yet you don't find that boring.
You may say I've been conditioned over the years to find certain features beautiful but during my childhood I was introduced to mostly normal/average white women and ads featuring them. How ever I tend to favor Asian or mixed race women.
General people don't think a person that looks like a pug or ET is cute. I "think" I recall Studies being conducted on how children respond to looks at early ages and if I'm not delusional they respond better to what "most" considered attractive. Just browsing though a few post here I can see a fairly constant theme.
Also there is such a thing as pretty syndrome. Where pretty people constantly get treated well and eventually expect that treatment from everyone.
August 12, 2024 at 4:24 pm #2086424Of course you don't have to agree with my perspective but sometimes I like for people to know my reasoning behind my opinion.

It is nice if someone takes the effort if someone gives some more insight why he/she says something. Prefer it to the 128 character one liners.
I do not think you preferences strange, I even understand them 😉There is a general consensus about beauty, but that changes over time. In the days of the painter, Rubenesq women were considered beauty full. That is not the case any more....
So one could argue that "taste" is cultivated. What I meant about people looking the same, is the fact that ( a lot) of girls/women go for plastic surgery ( big or small). Because they wanna fulfil the beauty standard that is "hot" at that moment.
Lipfillers, nosejobs etc. They end up being clones of each other.
I think with all that altering, the personality disappears, and that's what makes a face attractive or not ( to me). Then there is the fact, we look at the opposite sex as a potential mate.
As a male big hips an a nice ass make me turn my head.
But that is something different that beauty
For me beauty is found in the eyes, a friendly face.( and therefore is not limited to single race or age)
For that shows the beauty of the soul, that does not diminish over time 😉August 13, 2024 at 7:16 am #2086489Beauty and the beauty standard has resulted on a plethora of both males and females getting themselves graffitied with tattoos over the past few years. There's going to be a lot of (even more) ridiculous looking oldies in the years to come, for the sake of conformity.
Defining beauty is like asking "do you like hotdogs"... purely a matter of preference and hence a meaningless proposition.August 13, 2024 at 7:47 am #2086490Defining beauty is like asking "do you like hotdogs"... purely a matter of preference and hence a meaningless proposition.....
True, but (maybe because I sculpt) I have often wondered What attracted me in a girl/woman. Is there a "general type" I like?
It is not as much the body shape, but the face.
The why I find one face attractive and not the other is still a riddle to me.
It is not the sum of the parts, as said before, it is mostly the eyes that do the trick, but it could just as wel be an expression, a tilt of the head....it's an ongoing investigation 😉August 13, 2024 at 8:18 am #2086495It might even be something subliminal that is beyond actual cognition. I think your art would be the best way explore that, though perhaps not conclusively.
August 13, 2024 at 8:28 am #2086497Perceptions are subjective anyway.
What works for one doesn't for another.
August 13, 2024 at 2:02 pm #2086523Initial when you see a person you "see" them. You look at their face, body structure, hairstyle, clothing, posture, expressions, ect... it's odd how a smile goes a long way to add to a person appearance. A smile and a friendly attitude adds something. If based on a picture we don't get to talk to that person. Seeing a pretty girl with the voice of Mr.Snuffelupagas and the demeanor of Oscar the Grouch would be a turn off, BUT that doesn't take away from their initial appearance. They still "look" attractive. I'm not particularly fond of women build like a pro wrestler or built like the Michelin man.
I like chilli dogs, sourkraut, slawdogs ect.. but do you like bratwurst?
You post an image of a sunset. You ask for feedback and everyone here says it's beautiful. What does that imply?
That everyone agrees on the beauty of a sunset. Maybe one person says it's beautiful but needs more clouds. Still they agree it's beautiful. -
