Griyar did some nice uploads for populating scenes with extra figures

only the woman in red and her companion are
"DAZ" figures
linkI've used those people quite a bit in the past. Although they are un-posable and only have a single colour map they can look really good for background characters. The normal maps help a lot to make them look real and they don't have the memory overhead and angle issues like billboards.
I've found that some of them have skin colours a little to strong/reddish but they are easy to edit by just reducing the saturation in a photo program.
