So "wrapping" is what people like shinteo or DazWraps does..getting files from games and "wrapping" them around a Daz figure...
Does anyone know how to do this? I'm more looking for tutorials than a henchman 🙂Wouldn't this just be a matter of using the game character's UV's and sticking them on the Daz figure? A bit of 'fiddling' to make the UV fit is all that would be needed.
There are tutorials on how to do this for 3d body scans for game characters it is similar just the 3d data is not from a body scan but from the game character.

Here is a DAZ tutorial..: Wrap TutorialOriginally R3DS-Wrap, now Faceform-Wrap, takes Any supported mesh or scan to act as input.
It then creates a morph of the input model for the output format (like DAZ DSF).

I've tried to do it, but I don't have the patience to match up the skin textures.
I've given up because my heart isn't in it anymore (due to home life and other irl bs). Plus there are plenty of other people out there already converting characters, which to me now makes it pointless.
