MD is such a great tool, easy to use, really fast workflow, good interface and a decent smooth simulation and great replacement for dforce which still sucks.
But damn, im stuck with the version 10, you cant upgrade with 11 or 12, devs keep removing useful features, putting limits on settings ie in 10 they removed the possibility to set animation frames to 99, ok i can deal with it, in 12 they limited, all the fabric settings, so you can get over the slider limit, as weights, stiffness, solidify, which sometimes is absolutely needed.
It looks that the simulation is smoother in 12 then in 10 but you will loose a lot of useful features to get ie the awful line tack, a damn modular interface that doubled the clicks.
It took 2 years to add the possibility to change the UV tile fitting.Devs are sadists! 😀
And that's why people hack it and posted the newer version here. The latest on the site is Version 12 Personal edition.
using it today, it sucks, i know that software needs huge changelogs to sell, not with my bucks.
Just found another clueless "fix" about the layer clone, you cant give another material to the clone, you need to right click, add a new material, copy or save the material settings, load to th new material, 10 click more and you need to save the new settings even for testing it, its bs
