Hey all. So I've got a character I created using a mish mash of things. Every time I load her into the scene, Daz says I can't find some kind of roaming or temp files from App Data I believe.

I made this character with one skin and it did this. Then I changed the skin and same. Then I tried saving her shape and starting from scratch with a new file and a new figure. I dialed everything in, saved as a subset as always, and the same thing happened.

I have other characters from the same creator that load in every time no problem. Of all of the characters I've saved, this character is the only one that does this. Everything else I've done loads into the scene no problem.

Do you guys know what's going on and how to fix this? Right now, it's pretty tedious, because I have to write down the skin, the eyes I get from other assets, the makeup, and erase her eyebrows every single time I load her into the scene for a render.

Any help would be appreciated. This is making my already slow workflow slower than turtle poo.

    Dabbler,

When you erase the brows on a face it usually creates a new face skin. That new skin must not bee getting associated correctly during the save as a preset.

Does this problem occur after a regular save?

    Post your log file.

Ohhhhh that could be it! Brow remover! I don't usually replace eyebrows when I'm using skins, so that would explain why the problem is unique to that character. Okay I'll post the log file.

If this is the case, you just saved me a lot of time whether or not I can fix the issue. Now I can just save the character with the original eyebrows and the makeup I'm using, then just remove the brows after loading her into the scene. This will take like thirty seconds rather than having to rummage through my asset library for everything I used on her face.

    Thank you!
