characters for mei lin 8

It means that you need to have Mei Lin 8 as well because it uses the Mei Lin 8 character and morphs as a base 🙂
You can apply the presets (or use the morphs sliders) on any G8F (or G8.1F) characters, that part is up to you to decide, but if you apply it on Mei Lin 8 it will have the "correct skin" etc what was maybe intended for the East Asians.

This is an aside, but I think that figures other than Genesis 8 have better East Asian female characters, at least in terms of what I'm doing. I've noticed that G8F Asian characters aren't as attractive as the G8.1F or G9F ones or even some from earlier models like G3F, or they look too young for me to be comfortable adding them to my (NSFW) project. I'm also having trouble creating Asian characters with the various G8F sliders and skins I have. They just don't turn out right. G8F just doesn't seem to do East Asian women as well as it does with women of other ethnicities. Not sure why. Incidentally, Emiyo is the only G8F character that wows me on par with other non-Asian characters I've acquired or created custom for G8F. I've seen plenty who look nice in the ads but don't come out like the promos when you load them into the scene. Maybe it's better to get assets for another figure?
