I'll give 5,000 points to the person who can reliably convert this dress to G8 for me.
I didn't ask for other options/solutions. I asked to convert it to G8.
If I wanted to use V4, I would have, but I don't want to.Guess someone is in a Max Terrible mood today 🙂 .. that was just a suggestion.. and if you don't want it.. all you need to do is ignore it..
I am not sure that this would work with V4 in DS.
It is a poser dynamic clothing. 🙁 It requires a complete rerigging.@gladson1976 I see way too often the equivalent of someone asking for an apple and someone else saying why don't you have an orange instead, it's better and healthier. I didn't ask for an orange, I asked for an apple.
@Niala I guess that explains why I couldn't get it working even half decently when I tried to convert it, myself.
edit: I don't know why some people you can tag and some you can't. This forum is weird.

.. and regarding the tagging, to tag Niala.. you need to use the actual name of the person.. if you hover over the name, you will find Niala is actually hamster.. you need to use that name..
https://zonegfx.com/members/hamster/Well, I didn't ask for ideas or opinions. I offered points for someone who could do something specific. There's reasons why I made this specific request and want to do it this way, rather than asking "can someone tell me how I can make this dress work".
Again, I see way too often people offering "help" or "suggestions" of things that's completely not what the person asked for, just so they can feel like they were being helpful.
Another example of a common scenario I see, is people asking what is better, A or B? Then someone saying, you should definitely get D for these reasons. Well, D isn't within my scope, that's why I asked about A or B.
Just answer the question I asked. Simple.
@maxterrible When people offer alternatives it is sometimes because they are not sure if the original poster is aware of alternatives to solve their issue (everyone has different levels of knowledge on each particular thing). And many times, those alternative suggestions ARE suitable for the original poster (or possibly other users having the same issues who happen to be reading the thread, either currently or in the future after a search).
