What is the point of using that worthless image-hosting site, when Imgur exists?
I know I'm not the only one that tires of that fuckin' blue thumbnail over half of the items on offer here, why even keep using it if it does not function the way it's meant to?
It would be great if people use Imgur instead of that shitty, useless, and irritating to look at postimage thumbnail! /Rant over
NOTE: Unless, of course, you guys tried Imgur already with the same results, that is…
@3dartist2k22 Postimage works fine, when you see the blue thumbnail, that means "someone" reported that pic, and Postimage took it down in an auto process - without any check.
Imgur works the same way, just we don't use it that frequently - so that's why you can't see many grey Imgur error thumbnails on the blog.Bunkr as an image host will be allowed soon (they don't give a shit about reports) 🙂

I was just wondering why big honcho (Monk) was not using our new preferred image host. No disrespect intended. Personally I don't care much if the image is not available.... just click through to the post and product link. But for those wanting to score points for their shares, you're probably not doing yourself any favours with a little blue box instead of an image of what you're selling (for points).
I wonder if Monk does the upload from Daz's URL (or Renderosity, etc...) directly. Perhaps, an algorithm detects https:daz, or "someone" has a persecution mania for it..
Although the case is not only with Monk's posts... It happens to other users, and they are not so "famous" or "regular"...
Normally, I download from the URL or generate the image. I open it with Photoshop, and using a (free) script from http://www.compress-or-die, I compress it (so we save bandwidth...) and they are incompatible with Photoshop. (It modifies the structure of the jpg so that Adobe's can't open it...)But it seems that nothing happens to my images..(for the moment..)
It is verboden to use Daz image links for our share images..."er... trespassers will be tied up with piano wire'.. Basil Faulty 😄. The image links aren't from Daz URLs.
@frank22 "Ergo" (Old latin..), there is some infiltrated spy here who wants to "disturb" the images of whoever he wants, mainly Monk's post, so "you have to do a witch hunt", said the nefarious and imbecile of the US senator, Joseph McCarthy. .. 😀
But it is management by the same Admins., or asking postimage why...and their delete some images policy...
