The light is not that bad at all. I can imagine that there is a street lamp on the other side of the street. But the light is a little cool. Doesn’t really fit in my opinion. But all in all a great render. I like this style a lot anyway.I do like too, the "composition" of the pic is nice, even as u say, you wish to work the lighting. Maybe this one is a bite "too" white for a street at atmosphere.

As a lover of everything noirish I think you've done a good job with this image. It reminds me of Paper Moon.
