Hello, has anyone used this preset from the DAZ STORE? I´m trying to use it but I found it very difficult... Everytime I apply the Geoshell my model desappear.
I tried to follow the instructions on the store but it´s impossible for me. It says as follow:
"The workflow couldn't be simpler. With your figure selected in the Scene tab, apply the appropriate wearable preset, depending on whether you are using a Genesis 8 or 8.1 figure. This automatically creates an invisible geoshell around your figure. Then, with the geoshell selected in both your Scene Tab and your Surfaces tab, simply apply the desired shaders, as needed for your render, to the corresponding surfaces of your geoshell. It's just that easy!"
here I link the product:

This is what happen when I apply the "VELLUS HORIZON GEOSHELL)
August 28, 2022 at 9:43 AM #1861193First of all, you have installed an older version.
Make sure you find an updated version with both 8.0 and 8.1 Geoshells.
In your version, you probably need to load the geoshell first:
1) Select the G8F
2) Create > New Geometry Shell (this is the Geoshell)
3) Select the Geoshell, then press the "Use First" button.
4) Add the hair to the needed locations using the product icons.August 30, 2022 at 4:40 AM #1861594Thank you so much for your response, I’ll try it and make sure to follow your steps.
I’ll let you know what happen.
August 31, 2022 at 9:01 PM #1862182I found this guide, it was uploaded by the creator of the shader. I hope this help some other people that wants to use it.
And also thanks a lot Legolas18 for your help.
