Hello - I'm sure I read about Making morphs visible/accessible, for both G8F, G8.1F inside DS - somewhere here at the Zone, but can't find the thread. Can anyone help?
I might be mistaken but I think my G8.1F has the all of the same morph dials as my G8F. Not all of them work though for some characters. As for facial expressions, many G8 expressions will not work on 8.1. This is because those expressions rely on certain basic pose controls that come with Genesis 8.
Regarding the facial expressions I'm aware of the more advanced controls G8.1 has, but my own/selfmade MTs made with G8 - (some of them) aren't visible on G8.1, mostly FBMs.
The facial bones and muscle groupings for G8 are different from G8.1, so I guess MTs make with G8 may not transfer from G8 to 8.1. I notice that all the bluejaunte expressions for his/her characters work perfectly with G8F8.1, while most other G8 ones don't.
All Mts should be available regardless of whether I have made them for G8 or G8.1, at least that is what I hope is possible, one way or another.
If your MT included a dialed-in G8 expression/s then I would understand why it would not transfer to 8.1 because most of those can't be read by 8.1, those were replaced by different ones with G8.1
