Hi, I'm looking for someone that would be willing to convert ScarlET HD for Genesis 8.1 Female found here (https://zonegfx.com/scarlet-hd-for-genesis-8-1-female/) to G8F I'll give pts for your work just pm me a price and link to the converted product. --thanks if u can help me out.
Out of curiosity, why 8.1 > 8.0?
Also, you may not need to convert - check to see if the character morphs are in /data/DAZ 3D/Genesis 8/Female/Morphs/... if they are (and not under /Female 8_1/ ), you could just look for and use the dial.
Additionally you can replace the surfaces. You can load a generic 8.0 figure and use the morph sliders to change the body and face.
I just did a pretty successful conversion of an 8.1-specific character using this guide for the surfaces (which makes sense; you really just need to split out the head group), and by doing the usual base resolution -> export -> morph loader pro routine for the head and body morphs separately. It's not particularly difficult as long as you're willing to get in there with the geometry tool to pick out the head faces.
Let me take a poke at ScarlET and see if there's any reason this shouldn't be just as straightforward.
@Pooper I still use mostly G8 and some G3 (textures) where most of the stuff is compatible g3 --> g8 , I think Daz should have waited to put out G8.1 until they were ready foe it to be G9.
Thanks everyone for the heads-up info on converting , I just don't really have the time to try and do it myself, this is a busy time of year for me. 🙁
