Question about a request being filled

Hello, I have a question about requests for assets being filled. After a request has been filled, does it mean the asset should be publicly available on zonegfx? I have seen request threads closed after being filled, so you can no longer offer points in the thread, but I also cannot find the assets on zonegfx. Am I mistaken about this?
