Hiya
I have tried several times to install this product
I have taken from here and other sites but it just wont show up in either the content library or smart content. I have also tried remaking in content package assist but still nothing worksAnyone else having similar issues or managed to solve this?

Since this is my upload, I'll answer anyway.
In Content Library, go to People->Genesis 8 Female->Hair->DAZ ORIGINALS->FE Classic Bob Hair. Idk why it is in the "Daz Originals" sub-folder, but that might be why you're missing it.
I don't use smart content, but you can usually refresh the smart content list by right clicking the Smart Content tab, click Process Metadata Queue + Re-Import Metadata, then Accept. It will take a minute but it should help refresh your content.
If that still doesn't work, re-download and install it again fresh. Don't download it from other sites; those are copies of my files taken from here. My files on ZoneGfx are direct from Daz.
@monkseye @anjabear @eelgoo Could you move this to the General forum?Great thanks for your help - I seem to be having a few install issues for some reason (mostly failed installs through the install manager).

If you're using DIM, have you changed the default location of \My Daz 3D Library ? Or, are you using another library as your main?If either is true, MAKE SURE you also point DIM to the same library, or you will definitely miss it.
In DIM,
click on the gear icon, choose Advanced Settings..., open Installation tab, and at the bottom, make sure that Content Path Shortcuts: shows the label of your main library indicated in the list below (or whatever library you intend to install content to).
If your library path is not listed, click the + button in bottom left corner, add the path to the library, and give it a label. Click Accept, and then pick that label in the Content Path Shortcuts: dropdown box.
Accept to close Advanced Settings panel, and you're good to go. Now your content will get installed to the library you expect them to be.This particular product is irregular, but 100% "healthy". All the paths are properly referenced in the Manifest and the metadata.
However, the product is one of those dual-author products, both are listed in meta; FeSoul and Daz Originals. For whatever reason someone fukdup and put the user files in
People/Genesis 8 Female/Hair/Daz Originals/FE Classic Bob Hair/
instead of the conventionally correct
People/Genesis 8 Female/Hair/FeSoul/FE Classic Bob Hair/The data files are in the conventionally correct path
data/Fesoul/FE Classic Bob Hair/FE Classic Bob Hair/If it really bugs you, you can correct the path (rename the /Daz Originals/ folder in the zip to /FeSoul/) and do a bulk Replace in Manifest.dsx with grep or Notepad++ or Directory Opus, or whatever tool you like that can replace in files. Or do it by hand if you like punishment 🙂
Then you can uninstall and re-install with your fixed zip file.
