I'm getting too used to the splash image on the front page these days... can we change it up, pretty please?
(I know, that doesn't sound grouchy at all. Welcome to irony :p )
April 21, 2022 at 7:39 PM #1798660Yes, but maybe we can put my photoshopped version instead?
...and let's call it a coollab [mispelling intended?] 🙂
April 21, 2022 at 8:05 PM #1798666Totally good with that 🙂
April 21, 2022 at 8:06 PM #1798667Sorry about the liberty I took, I like your render, but I wanted to give it a more dramatic look.
April 21, 2022 at 9:02 PM #1798673No offense taken... once it's in the wild, I have no further control over it.
April 21, 2022 at 11:19 PM #1798682One not ripped from artstation would be nice. perhaps another member contest?
April 22, 2022 at 12:28 AM #1798710Edit - I need to learn to read
April 22, 2022 at 2:27 PM #1798935I think ADAM wasn't referring to your render, but to the current Splash Screen, which is from vahid ahmadi on ArtStation
April 22, 2022 at 4:28 PM #1798961Ah - totally misread then... my bad.
April 23, 2022 at 3:27 AM #1799122"....once it’s in the wild.." true @Pooper. Once it out there it's up for grabs.
Speaking of stolen artwork, I was making an Easter card for my daughter last week and found (stole) this image. Kind of cute and scary at the same time. Being a bit weird like her dad she liked it. Wish I could draw like this.
April 23, 2022 at 4:34 AM #1799127That Easter girl is great on many levels.
Legolas18 is correct.
Just my opinion but use to be nice to see member artwork scrolling when I logged in. Really don't care if the art is stolen or not. Just like to see member art and Daz art. Not something from someone not connected to the site. Unless of course the guy is an undercover pirate rendering in Daz. Then again, seems I'm a difficult person to please.
The art didn't change for Easter, don't recall much went on for Halloween or any other Holiday. Heck, my wife is Buddhist and still celebrates Christmas.

"Wish I could draw like this."
Me too. Long ago I might have pulled that off, but this damnable CG addiction has atrophied my skills with a pencil (and more than a few brain cells)... 🙂
@d0gg0d held forth:"Really don’t care if the art is stolen or not. Just like to see member art and Daz art."
Ditto. It would help if it weren't under-rezzed as well. We hold contests... why not put the winning entries to use?
April 25, 2022 at 4:42 PM #1800124Not sure how long you've been here but when I first found this place contest were ran regularly by the Mods. They even have a section that hasnt been touched in years.
Members ran contest more as well. It was unusual for a month to go by without a contest and rare for a holiday like Christmas or Halloween to not have a site ran contest. Was very rare to see an item bounty filled and not posted within a couple days.
People IMHO seemed to come together more. Even arguments we mostly in good faith. I can only recall one instance where a member defaulted on a bounty.
Unfortunately over time it seems like Mods lost interest in the community and were fine just policing the forums.
People decided that backdoor trading and holding content for points was better than sharing with the community.
So even thought this site is the "go to" site for content it was and could have been much more.
I'll wear this proudly.
(https://zonegfx.com/forums/topic/we-have-a-great-community-here/)April 25, 2022 at 7:48 PM #1800205I can totally agree to that. It's why I usually just pass freebies I find on, instead of mining them for point-posts.
April 30, 2022 at 1:17 AM #1801857+1 for updating the splash page. It'd be cool to feature member art.
Heck, I'd be happy to see a higher res version of the current ninja girl. I'm tired of seeing her blurry face!
