The big point here is that the $5.00 one is far superior to the Daz $14.00 one. But you do have to convert the surfaces for DS Iray, no big deal.
$14 for 4 items as opposed to $5.00 for 10 says it all about how Daz operates.Rank:

I hear you frank. I don't have daz+ but sometimes content vs. price is very generous. When I get a very generous offer on some content I usually don't upload it until it is over a month old. Piece of mind, I guess.
What surprises me is that Sixus1 Media has some amazing content and I never thought they would stoop so low as to flip another users content (2nd-World whom I also enjoy).
Maybe I'm totally wrong and it is just a coincidence they called the product the same, and have the exact same props. There are minor difference but anyone with any 3d modeling talent can alter the mesh slightly.

@Kefka - they really don't look like the same props to me and 'smoking paraphanalia' is a common term for the stuff. The price/content ratio is still ridiculous.
I agree, the only similarity is that there are an ashtray, some stogies, and a vape. Otherwise there's hardly any similarity.
To be fair, those are the plain simplest models one could crank out. A first-day Blender beginner could do that set in about an hour, an experienced modeler could do it in 15 minutes. Spawn a cube, bool here and there, bevel, subD and smooth, scale a little and wham, you got an ash tray. Slap a texture on it and go. Extrude a cylinder a few times, same thing - wham, you got smokes. The most work is creating a Daz product out of the obj models and assigning mats in Studio.
But thankies for the freebie, now my G8 characters can get virtual lung cancer. This would pair up nicely with the Z Feeling Unwell poses 🙂@lucafeelgood @d0gg0d @anjabear @amberkat

True. The most difficult one would be the vape mod. Well now that dear victoria and michael 8 have a tragic back story (one is deaf and one is wheelchair bound / i forget which is which), why not have one of the base morphs be an raging alcoholic and another a chronic smoker who is diagnosed with lung cancer. ***I'm joking**** Anyway, enjoy!
