Nice render! Which card are you using?
December 4, 2021 at 2:55 PM #1754596Thank you Billy Hill,
My computer is
MSI WS63 8SK-054FR WORKSTATION
Intel Core i7-8750H (Hexa-Core 2.2 GHz / 4.1 GHz Turbo - 12 Threads - Cache 9 Mo)
32 Go RAM
NVIDIA Quadro P3200 6 Go GDDR5Rendering Quality: 5.00
Rendering Converged Ratio: 98.0%December 4, 2021 at 9:25 PM #1754703A nice result. Long but nice and effectively she has a little pink nose with that cream ! Send a sample of the cream to Brigitte Bardot. She should be interested.
December 5, 2021 at 1:24 PM #1754916@TristanBresson, Thank you, I will think about it ! 🙂
December 5, 2021 at 7:41 PM #1755005I really like this image @Mjj01.
I think the thing I find most appealing is the desaturation of the colours, or is it the choice of colours themselves that work so well together. The eyes and the skin are also amazing.
There's a few artifacts on her forehead from the haircap but barely noticeable. The trans-mapped hair unfortunately lets the image down but there's not much you can do about that because it's just the way it's made. It's also probably why the picture took so long to render, along with the quality setting of 5, that's pretty insane. You could have used a geometry-based hair but I don't know if there is a style like this one.
All in all this is a beautiful image, very much capturing the style of magazine advertising. Thank you for sharing it with us. I love seeing what people do with the stuff they get from here.
December 5, 2021 at 10:12 PM #1755030Hello @Franck21,
Thank you for your comment.
For information, the photo is as it came out of the rendering, no processing with photoshop, otherwise I would have removed the artifacts, and I would have notified it in my comment.December 5, 2021 at 11:11 PM #1755041Why the aversion to postwork? It's a credit to you that it rendered so well without adjustments, but I find I need to do some corrective postwork on all my renders. Not overkill like some do... just a nip and tuck here and there.

Nice setup 🙂
And as @Frank22 said, It's a credit to you for not doing any post work. Your image didn't need it.
December 6, 2021 at 2:08 AM #1755092December 6, 2021 at 3:17 AM #1755104@Mjj01 I try really hard to get the initial render 100% but clothing usually doesn't fit or drape right. I'm rendering a Xmas image for the Art Comp thread and so far it looks like it may be one of the very few that I won't have to re-touch in postwork.
You should join in the comp yourself. -
