The video is in real time... 24 minutes.
I have a problem with the foot finger... (Is normal in the VMD´s . Perhaps, assign the toebase to the thumb in the foot..)
Blender is for mantain the A pose, for aeasy definition in MoBu...
    Always limits off.

Man that looks complicated. Good luck with the project and show us when it's rendered.

It's simple for me. Maybe people get scared by programs like Maya or MoBu, which are complicated to the extent that you want a result. You see that I hardly touch "strange" parameters like constrains, etc ...
The trickiest part is using Vocaloid files (vsq, vsqx) to lip-sync, and facial expressions.

Hehe... maybe this will inspire me to do something with the hundred GB or so I have of antique MMD models. I gave up with MMD years ago after never learning Japanese, but I still have the thousands of models and sets I torrented :p

Models don't matter to me. I use a Luka Montecore that I already have characterized in Mobu, and it works well for me to adapt the Vmd movements to Genesis 8. The facial expressions are not transmitted, since they are morphs of the Pmx or Pmd. You have to generate them with the anilip or another, with the synthesized voice of Vocaloid. It takes work, but the results are better than through 3dXchange, as they can only create a Daz-compatible BVH, and a 6000 frame animation can take two hours to load ..
later, I pass it in Alembic to cinema 4d ..
The good thing about MMD4Maya is that it renames the bones with the Autodesk HIK nomenclature, which in Blender sometimes fails. (Almost always ..) That simplifies a lot.
