Hey all - might not be directing this at the right section but I'm sure the mods will move it if necessary
I was wondering whether 3d-load.net has any affiliation to Zone.
As my uploads appear on their site when I have loaded them here, and they're obtainable without
the need for credit purchases, It might seem a little two-faced to be whining about stuff being uploaded for free considering the very nature of why we're all here, however I think it's a little annoying that people here like myself who regularly fulfil requests to gain "currency" to use on other stuff and thus keeping the economy going so to speak, are seeing their "purchased" items appearing on aforementioned website non gratiaJoe x
MODERATOR: 3D-LOAD net has several users from here who play the "points" game so they can immediately repackage and dump the items onto 3D-Load's pages to appear as if they had it first. As no points are necessary to get stuff FASTER, people check 3D-Load thinking they had it first, when in reality they took it from preliminary Request shares and instantly handed it over to 3D-Load's admin, who makes money off his site. Our method of points/then post, slows down 3D-Load (and 20 other sites) from getting ZoneGFX's content. If you hate the points thing - guess what? Us offering points for things GETS USERS who usually NEVER SHARE ANYTHING to share with us and get us the newst stuff released! Amazing! The thing every LEECHER on here claims is the biggest scam (points) is trying to kill off what gets them the most stuff anyway. Unbelievable! 3D-Load and many others have nothing to do with ZoneGFX, but users lurking in ZoneGFX leech our stuff in the Request by offering points, and then hand them over to 3D-Zone for repackaging and posting on at least 3 other share downloaders as soon as the products have been shared. You can imagine how ANGRY the people are that their stuff is landing on 3D-Zone as soon as they hand it out to the points offering users here. That was the reason for the "warning" inside the share to try to prevent this from happening - but good luck - pirates are pirates and don't give a damn. That is the nature of this "business". - ModeratorThis has been raised so many times.
The folk that run those other sites are obviously members here, or have people who farm the content from here.
There is little we can do about that, as it is really the nature of the sharing community that that sort of thing is going to happen.
That's pirating for you. Pirates will pirate. This is also pirating, just with a site-currency.
AND stuff from other sites makes its way here. Its just that this one is more open to the general pirate than the paying pirate. Not long ago we all gathered under the torrent flag but big boss smashed the pirates code and scattered the clans.
Actually, I'm thinking about zonegfx could make a group(discord) for people who usually buy stuffs. Since some people already have many points. Even they offer high points for what they need but it is hard to be fulfilled(maybe not a popular one or a high price one). So people can look for someone who are also interested in that product, then they will sum up. This will save few bucks.
My idea was give early access to people that actually share. Everyone still gets the item but those that dont upload have to wait. This may give people a reason to upload but they could just go DL it somewhere else if it gets leaked. Piracy itself is to provide content to those that cant afford it. I can afford an item every so often but no way I could afford everything I download. As a group thought we can have everything. That said there are those that cant or wont contribute. You cant punish everyone for that but you can reward those that take the effort to provide for others.
I do like the idea of being able to access content earlier for those who share. I enjoy providing content when I can and helping people, but it does get a bit much when it starts to seem a little greedy or entitled. Also as someone who mainly enjoys collecting male content it's usually harder to come by and less people share because that's not the majority or what's available (and not as popular) so I cherish when I can get stuff that's available.
Following Zemlon' s logic, the actual 3D artists and creators that post their work on Daz3D and Renderosity and all the other sites should feel the same way and everyone should just stop making things because somebody will upload it somewhere online... Buddy, you are pirate, don't you think it's kind of hypocritical to say a pirate stole from a pirate? Come on, man.
We have already started discussions about early access options and other possible upgrades to the points system. Considering the fact that people supported this wave and shared their thoughts on the proposals made for specific changes, made their own, I got the impression that all this just drowned in other messages, since it looked like it was offtopic in those threads.
Maybe just raise a separate branch where to add specific proposals? Threads with just chatting enough already.ps Zemlon, I'm really sorry I had to re-upload some of your uploads. Sooner or later it would have happened anyway. Of course, it won't get any easier from this, but in any case, I am personally ready to transfer them back and give, though now not all, but the remaining points. The rest have already been distributed among worthy participants, it seemed to me. To transfer it, you just need to inform me in a convenient way about your decision to this proposal, which was addressed immediately after the accident.

lol. Every porn movie puts a warning that sharing their content is not only illegal, but hurts the creators. No one cares. Their crap gets pirated all day long and many almost certainly go out of business as a result. The rippers just move on to the next site. Humans are after all, only human.
