Question about hair bundled in Detriot-Become-Human for G8F

I really like the hair bundled in: https://zonegfx.com/detroit-become-human-chloe-for-g8f-2/
It's the only ponytail I can find for G8F with proper high hairline. However, when I used it on other G8F it doesn't fit correctly either via AutoFollow or Redirect. There are no scale parameters either. My understanding is that this happens when something is neither hair/clothing/prop but part of a figure, which makes sense.

So what can I do to get the scale parameters to show up? Or better yet using it as a real G8F hair so I can pose the ponytail as well? Please use noobie language.
