Current canon Jedi are Gods. They can teleport matter and fly so no need for speeders unless you happen to be a smuggler or some other inferior life form.
Perhaps bob is not intending to use Jedis? Lots of regular schlubs in the SW universe. I've personally gotten to the point that non Force using characters are more interesting anyway.
not intended to use with the current state of the new movies jedi, as i think what abrams did to the movies was shove a lightsaber up its rump an decided to make it more a magic show than a scifi show and completely ignore some of the facts stated in the very first movie just so he could do so special chase scenes.
i fricken hope the rumor of disney scrubbing those 3 movies usiing a scene from rebels is true.
