So I have been using Daz for almost a year now but never really used dim
I only install content with zip extraction method... that's it but I have been wanting to uninstall a lot of content I'm not using... should I just completely reinstall my content trough DIM.
I'm not even sure, could anyone help or share some info
(i have loads of installed content)

It is definitely better to install via DIM. Both you can easily Uninstall them and you can have them installed in your Smart Content. There are more categories in Smart Contents that do not exist in Content Library. Like Stylize or Real World for Characters and more. Try it this time, having a few separate libraries and giving them a few addresses from within the DAZ, will make the software lighter and faster.

There is a relevant stickied post ' https://zonegfx.com/forums/topic/manual-install-to-ds/ ' which covers IMO a better way to deal with content, but as you already have lots of installed content, it would probably be easier to start afresh with a new 'My Library' folder.

    🙂
