Best program or script for lip-syncing? both free and paid? Best compatible lipsyncing for DazStudio 4.10+ and Blender. Anyone tried Mimic Live or AniLip Or Anilip2....I already have Mimic Live And AniLip 1 bought a while back from Daz.
Everyone knows or are learning cant get far in animation without having character able to speak any suggestions or tips greatly appreciated.
Thanx Dawtah
October 9, 2019 at 2:24 PM #1279209I have played with Anilip 2, and Mimic Live. Of the two, Mimic Live seems better.
HOWEVER, iClone 7 seems to have a thing similar to anilip that might actually be better (Everything I have tried in iClone seems better than the DAZ version)
Definitely worth checking out. If I finish updating everything here and have time, I will test it and see.October 9, 2019 at 2:36 PM #1279217@tysim1966

October 12, 2019 at 2:23 AM #1282306@dawtah Did you want to see an aniLip 2 or an iClone clip?
Mostly curious, my system right now is so busy because I have to move about 6 TB of data around to accommodate DAZ. But, as soon as it is done, I can post them for you.October 12, 2019 at 9:16 AM #1282664if possible both. I just downloaded iclone 7 with some environments to test out and see if its the One! that will complete my setup.
October 18, 2019 at 11:35 AM #1291108@dawtah I definitely like the iClone better. I will hopefully have clips for you soon.

October 18, 2019 at 11:08 PM #1291835Ok, here is an iClone creation.
I took a Genesis 8 figure, modified (her name is Barb) and exported to FBX (after dropping the Gen8 iClone duf on her)
Once in iClone, I took an avi clip from the internet, and told iClone to animate the lips. Then I added some angry motions. You can see how good it is.
It would be better if the character is created in Character Creator 3. With that you can modify the lips further and make the motion even smoother (Can not do that with a DAZ import)Took about 1/2 hour total to Make her, put her in iClone, animate her and Render the video
In DAZ the render alone would take days. 🙂October 23, 2019 at 4:17 AM #1297054@dawtah Here is a link to my final rough draft. I used DAZ to create the characters, 3DXchange to convert them, and iClone 7 to do all the animation, including the lipsync to clips I made with free TTS online software.
The whole clip took about 3 hours to render in UltraHD format, 60 FPS. In DAZ, that would take days, if not weeks.....
