DAZ USER - Week 1

Hey guys & gals!
Heres Kerry, the new girl on the block again!
Well, this is my first week as a DAZ user and also a new member of ZoneGfx.
I'm 100% newbie but still so excited!
So, I have been watching lots of tutorials
but still feeling a bit lost about where to start
and what products should I get right away.
As I mentioned in other posts, my goal is to create feminization stories,
so I will be creating transgender characters.
What have I learned so far?
Well, to start with, I installed DAZ, which is my first great achievement, lol,
sounds easy but it is not.
Immediatelly I joined ZoneGfx, which is another great decision Ive made.
But specifically about DAZ, I learned to choose figures, add skins, hairs, move them, merge new figures in the scene, reshape them...and the more I learn, the more questions I have!!!
Reshaping a figure leads me to two conclusions (according to what I grasped from tutorials) I should ADJUST THE RIG/BONES/SKELETON/WHATEVER to the new figure I have created, and I must find a way to SAVE that new character the right way.
So these are my 2 questions today:
1. How do I adjust the bones to my newly created character?
2. How do I save my new character correctly?
