Daz Studio 4.11 Pro General Released

.. i just downloaded it. let's test it.

Personally, i'll be waiting a bit more and read more feedback from peoples here about the new version before upgrading.

I'm more of a type of "if it's not broken, why replace it". Currently, i'm happy with 4.10.

But if enought people are saying 4.11 is far more better than 4.10 and everything isn't screwy or all shuffled in the interface, i might install it.

Which beg the question.....what is the advantage of using 4.11 over 4.10 ? Is it worth the upgrade ?

I went back to 4.10. 4.11 broke iray rendering for me. I saw crashes nearly every time I tried to render or do the iray preview in the viewport. Uploading to the latest nvidia drivers didn't help.

The fact that they have made it so dynamic hair only works for PA products kinda infuriates me beyond logic and reason.

They both work fine, so you're doing something wrong. I'm guessing perhaps you've tried installing them via DIM, or similar (which may fail).

Install them manually, and they should work just fine.

(Okay, granted, I don't have the player anymore, just the Catalyzer, but it's sort of the one you need anyway).

Both LAMH versions work for me in 4.11 Pro.

If I could use the catalyzer for everything I would, but not all the fur is out in the wild for it.

OH, just remembered, I didn't have to install any content for beta. Its linked to 4.10 automatically, and both run just fine in 4.10. Just that they don't show up anywhere in beta.
