@frank22 I've been reliably informed by GenZ and Gen Alpha relatives that the original meaning is more or less obsolete now. Pretty much in the same way as the term ''Bishy''. They've entirely - sometimes, admittedly for the better, often for the worse - redefined many English terms, such as ''bet'', ''cap/no cap'', ''slaps'', ''thicc'' (spelt that way,too etc.)
They also refer to a ''problematic'', or anti-hero ''twink'' i.e. straight pretty boy, (in its new meaning) as ''babygirl''/ ''babygurl'' because said guy is ''cute.''
I'm a Millennial, but the new definitions baffle me sometimes. Lol
So, it would seem that ''Twink'' has overtaken/usurped ''meterosexual'' in common parlance. Lol
@d0gg0d It looks as though Gen z/Gen Alpha have completely repurposed it.
It's like the ''ick'', for example. As a Millennial - and maybe this is only within my own friend /family group, but we used to call it the ''blank''. Meaning that someone you were dating and super attracted to did or said something small, but irritating, that you found so off putting, and completely killed your romantic feelings for that person stone dead. To me the ''blank'' makes more sense, as it perfectly illustrates the lack of feelings where once they existed, the ''ick'' is just lazy! Lol

If I really have to choose, I would rather have the cat monster. If a naked man were lying on my bed, I don't know how quickly I would have to get away or how I would throw that man out of the window.
@realteamkiller Thanks for the laugh! Once I got the image into my head of a dude in the nude being hurled from a second floor window, it really tickled my funny bone. lol

On a serious note, though, when I first heard my twenty two year old cousin refer to some K-Pop dude as a ''babygurl twink'' I was taken aback and asked her if she was aware of the connotations of the word ''twink''. She shrugged and told me that ''it doesn't mean an underage guy anymore, it means a young looking grown up pookie who is so bae and too perfect looking to be a man.''
I had to ask her to decipher her answer to make it more understandable.
And, it only seemed like yesterday when my generation's slang was the ''current thing''. Lol So I guess my type is ''grown up pookie too bae and perfect looking to be male''. Lol
The meaning of language has evolved over time and I'm certain "gay" has lost or changed meaning or evolved into something else.
@frank22 My late granny always used gay as it was originally intended.
Eg - Granny: ''The wedding was fantastic; we had such a gay time!''
If she said that nowadays, people would assume she'd attended a rather unorthodox event. Lol
Oh gosh! I miss Little Britain and Bo' Selecta so much. Both were staples of my teenage viewing.

@d0gg0d Even after all these years, South Park still manages to stay relevent. That was a hilarious episode.
One of my favourites, though was the one with Randy on Wheel of Fortune.... Lol
Would be difficult to pick just 1 favorite. Make love not warcraft is definitely near the top. When Butters becomes a pimp is great.
