VOTING BEGINS!
Please vote for your personal TOP THREE entries by posting them in a reply below. List them in order, starting with your most favorite, like this:
1st - member1
2nd - member2
3rd - member 3I encourage voters to include a line or two about why they liked their favorite entries. But this is not necessary – voting is enough!
Contestants: DO NOT VOTE FOR YOUR OWN ENTRY. Voting automatically awards your art an additional 1st place vote!
Voting ends in one week, on Sunday the 11th at 11:59pm EST
It’s worth reading the artists' stories behind their renders. But for convenience I have saved the original images into a single RAR file. The filenames have been changed to represent your member name and image title (or a description). Download it here.

FAQ:–Who can vote? ANY ZoneGfx member can vote.
Vote once for your top three favorites. Votes may be disqualified at my sole discretion (for example: suspicious new accounts, rude behavior, etc.). As the host, I will not be voting.
–What is the voting criteria? Choose your favorites by any standard you prefer.
–How will votes be tallied? I will give each 1st choice 5 points, 2nd gets 3 points, 3rd gets 2 points. At the end of the contest I will tally them and announce the winners. Contestants that vote will automatically receive 5 points towards their entry.
–What are the prizes for the winners? Currently the prize pot is at 264,000 points! The overall winner will receive the most points; a large share of the total pot. Second and Third place will receive a large, but lesser, share of the pot. These three winners will also have their banners displayed on the ZoneGfx splash page during the last three weeks of December!
The small amount of remaining points will be distributed to the other contestants at my discretion for creativity, rendering prowess, and use of the contest theme.

I'm a sucker for dogs in renders and the story told made me chuckle a lot.
2nd @Adelasia From Our House to Yours
Still a sucker for dogs and the indoor lighting put mine to shame
plus the addition of a beautiful woman can never harm a render.
3rd @Felicia Sudden Snowstorm at Badgers Drift Station
Spent a lot of time in my twenties and thirties travelling long distances by train and this render just brought back those memories of fun and pain ....

I am reminded of Norman Rockwell here. You had me at deer in the background, but the patterning on the clothes and expression of the child were outstanding. A really wonderful image!2nd Eve Adams @Littleevie Tiny Dancer
I honestly said 'Wow' out load at the distortion of the glass ball - very cool.3rd @Adelasia From Our House to Yours
This was just so relaxing and nice. I especially like the color palette and lighting.December 5, 2022 at 6:26 pm #1897863Many good entries, well done gals and guys!
After some consideration, here are my top 3. I wanted to include more, but I only get 3 slots.
1st: @Adelasia From Our House to Yours
This has everything. Complex yet simple, and gives me a feeling of relaxation.2rd: Bebe Rebozo @Bebe Glacial Worlds
Another calm, Christmassy look. I love it!3nd: @Felicia Sudden Snowstorm at Badgers Drift Station
I love the mood of this one, sad but true.Good luck to everyone!

It's a very evocative scene, inviting us to feel concern for the little girl being dropped off all alone at a station as the weather deteriorates. Nice use of depth-of-field, lit with a great winter overcast HDRI, and composed in a way that lets the shadows set the tone and mood. Well done!2nd: @Lucafeelgood We Love Cats
The dynamic range of this one catches my eye, from the contrast of the warm light under the bandstand to the cool wintry white of the snow. Even the sky has range to it, darker in some places than others, cloudy and credibly threatening to snow on the feline revellers. Fortunately there's plenty of fire to keep everyone warm, it seems, since the musicians might otherwise get chilly in those dresses!3rd: @Bebe Glacial Worlds
The late-afternoon winter sky in the background contrasts beautifully with the artificial lights of the foreground decor, and you could trace an arc of shadow in between to mark the twilight zone. It evokes that magical dusk hour when the last of the light is about to drop behind the mountains and the night sky--maybe with an aurora?--is about to be revealed. The fools inside the house are about to miss it all, though they look comfortable and cozyGrats to all of the artists; you made it hard to pick just three!
Cheers,
