Wow! WHAT can I say about this contest? It was amazing!
I am most proud of this contest than any other I have curated... and why? Because of you! @littleevie Eve Adams - You win 20,000 each for your Male and Female entries. A total departure from most, these B & W with a touch of color makes me feel more than a little bit lusty. Excellent work!Eyeful Tower

First Place and 20,000 points goes to
This was tough. I said only one entry can win per person, but both of these by the same person deserve to be the best in category. I will say ROBOT ON THE BEACH is my favorite with The Roswell Pinup Girl as my 'also favorite but can't get points'. One because it is sexy and unexpected, the other because it was so well thought-out and fun. CONGRATS @goblyn
########## BEST OF SHOW ##########
This was everything I could imagine for this contest. Fun, witty, well executed - heck, it looks like a real pin-up from back in the day! An amazing job worthy of 50,000 points! Congrats @Spats Ground PlansFebruary 6, 2023 at 5:26 pm #1923790Thanks La Pucelle and congrats to all the winners.. lots of great art!
February 6, 2023 at 5:57 pm #1923800I'm honored to be included among such spectacular competition! Thank you, and congratulations to all!
February 6, 2023 at 6:23 pm #1923807THANKs @lapucelle , et al, for an amazing and fun and funny and exhilarating event!
I was really worried I hadn't even placed before getting, slowly, to the bottom of the results post, no joke. This contest was that crazy good with incredible entries and efforts. Fantastic job, one and all! The stylistic talent in here is beyond impressive.
I'm really glad to have gotten a point across in the idea/offering, and am proud to have contributed to the treasure hunter theme. Honestly an honor. No sarcasm.
Really (sniff tear) love this place.THANK you for the points. They will go to the cause again, soon, for sure. But not right away necessarily because, for the first time in the forums, this puts me over 100,000! Yay! ...So I'll sit on them for maybe a day or three before they're re-gifted.
...But, yeah, I think it will pretty much all get donated - contest(s), ppl, other. (Take what you need, use what you have, give away what you're gifted.)Next up (or sometime) HAS to be a Sorayama Gynoid event of some kind. The SCI-FI spinoff category killed it in here. What a good idea. If Goblyn enters we're all screwed, of course, lol.
But who could care when examples like this show what you people can do? I'd drop good-point-coin for anything approaching this again. Awesome. Really glad about all the ups and good vibes from people as observed/mentioned as well. All super kind and very well put and positive. Doesn't get better. Everyone in here r o c k s for the positivity. I'm constantly humbled and impressed by this community. Congrats to not just the winners, but ALL in here, participating or no. Good place to be.February 6, 2023 at 7:39 pm #1923826Awesome stuff everyone! Thanks to @lapucelle (happy to hear you've recovered!), all the participants and supporters! Congrats to everyone really!
It was a very fun contest with an amazing show of skill, style and creativity from everyone! Looking forward to the next one.
February 6, 2023 at 9:34 pm #1923861Thanks to @lapucelle for organizing another fantastic competition, and also to everyone who donated points, for what was, surely, a record prize fund.
I'm over the moon that my B&W entries were considered good enough for a mention, but I'm especially thrilled to know that one of them, however inexplicably, has managed to become a desktop background.
For me though, the standout thing about this particular competition was that, despite reservations from some about the dimensions not being perfect for the subject matter, everyone put on their creative hats and knocked this one right out of the park.
Well done to everyone who participated. I can't wait to see what you all do in the next one.
February 6, 2023 at 10:39 pm #1923876Thank you very much for this contest @lapucelle and a special thanks to each and everyone who participated, be it by filling the prize pot and / or by submitting entries.
And a speedy and painless (as much as possible) recovery!
February 6, 2023 at 10:58 pm #1923880Thanks @lapucelle !
This was a fun contest with many great entires.
Congrats to all the winners and big thanks to all participants and all of you who added points to the prize pot.I also wish @lapucelle a quick recovery!!
February 7, 2023 at 12:08 am #1923898Well done everybody and thanks to La Pucelle for organising the comp. and those who put points into the comp. Did anyone not win any points? PM me and I'll share with you.
February 7, 2023 at 2:12 am #1923920<strike>Wait.. I would have placed? Let's start this voting over!</strike> LOL HOW DO YOU STRIKE OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats to best of show @spats. That's two out of three competitions on winning 'Best of Show'. Oops, that was EWLO that got my best of in the halloween contest. My bad. Still great job here.
I had a feeling you were going to win. Everything about your picture was perfect. No joke.
Congrats to @diviniren for getting 1st on your very first ZoneGFX comtest.
Also congrats to... I'm to lazy to mention anyone else. 😛
Thanks @lapucelle and get well soon! Thanks to all those that contributed, without you this contest couldn't happen. Also thanks to @Ethiopia for idealizing the contests theme. Hopefully Sci-fi was the genre you thought best matched the theme. LMAO 😀 😀 😀
- Take care
February 7, 2023 at 2:36 am #1923922@Kefka
select text and use this thingy (btw you need "too" [lazy] the adverb and not "to" the preposition 😏)February 7, 2023 at 3:33 am #1923941@frank22 happy to share the podium with you pal! Nothing quite as sexy as wet paint! You helped lots with advancing my lighting techniques lol!
@kefka I concur! I’m also happy to see you re-entered at the 11th hour, the private Johnson is still one of my favs!
@spats love your best of show, but in some ways I liked your second one with the whole Victoria Secret angels even more! Lol! Also thanks for the tips on the sweat effect on the skin! It’s opened the door for me to get closer to more photorealistic skin texturing.Probably went a bit too heavy handed on the sci-fi (tbh - I missed the part that @lapucelle liked cowboys and pirates, lol!), hopefully I didn’t bend the rules too much…
Definitely would love to see a sci-fi contest in the future, although I am starting to build up assets of other genres as well.
Regardless, I love to see each artist showcase their “style”. Everyone has their signature embedded in their style. That to me is the real gem of these contests.
February 7, 2023 at 4:34 am #1923950As diviniren said, it is great to see how everybody has his/her own style. What we like or dislike is personal taste, but it is great to see the versatility of use off the studio. Also good to see there is competition ( we all want to win) but there is plenty off sportsmanship in the form off people giving tips and hints, sharing assets etc.
Good to see the community alive.
Depending on the topic, next time I will be in 🙂February 7, 2023 at 5:19 am #1923955I agree @Gaver.... but here we go again, you need to use the word “of” [people] not “off". Grammar nazi strikes again 🙄.
February 7, 2023 at 6:11 am #1923961Thank you @lapucelle for the contest!
And congrats to all for some astounding pieces of art!
