This one has a very big resolution because a friend of mine used his PC to render it for me. Took him 30 minutes to render what would've taken me 20+ hours

Why ruin the image by signing it so close to the figure? Just sign it in the corner if you feel its something you cant live without.

I would have probably hid the ear since the hair clips through it and its just a tip poking out.

I've had way too many people claiming my renders as their own and trying to take the signature out, sadly. And she has pointy ears, so

Ive yet to try it but from what Ive seen AI can pretty much remove anything.

you're on a site dedicated to taking other peoples stuff.

Nothing against your girl but Id be ripping off something like this.

Yeah, I know. But I've had my art stolen in social media (facebook, twitter and pinterest).
Also, Willow's a tiefling. She's one of my BG3 characters and she's supposed to have more of a cutesy look lol

So how do you think a person feels when someone downloads
    https://www.daz3d.com/wonderland
that took 1000x the effort to create?

At one time I was concerned then I saw how many artist were far superior than me uploading amazing pictures without watermarks. Did I really think so much of myself that my render was so much better than theirs I needed to write all over it.

Not saying its wrong I just find it a bit ridiculous. I guess if it make you feel better its worth it

as i see it you loose controll of your art whenever you post that art on internet im sorry but life its just like that, doesnt mean you cant watermark it, i watermark my works as well but i know very well that it doesnt matter if i do or not, if people want to rip it off they will.

unless you put a big transparent watermark like some people do on deviantart or artstation, thos small watermarks like that are easy to take off, the best thing to do is creating you own artstyle such artstyle that when soemone sees it they instantly know who makes it, a good proof of that is WLOP with or without watermark if someone sees hes art people instantly know it was WLOP who made it

    @tokyiro

I rarely will mark or even sign anything. The point of posting it is to share. Maybe someone would like it as a screen saver. Unless youre actively making money off of your renders it pointless and even a lot of professional artist dont mark the art. There are excellent artist that I grab art from just to view it. I wont even bother subscribing to someone that water marks pictures or charges to view a gallery. If they want to sell better resolution images or charge for commissions thats a different thing IMHO. Having a bit of pride in your work is fine but screwing it up because you feel some odd need to keep it from others you might as well not post it.

@ADAM that is not the point tho its fine if you mark it and its fine if you dont its whatever but saying a image is fucked up becuse of a watermark is stupid, people will watermark theyr image for alot of reasons, its not a matter of pride or not is a matter of not wanting other to make money out of your work, i dont mind if someone downloads an image and shares it with other people, what i mind is people downloading an image and selling it as theyr own, that is the point of watermark.

yes sure alot of excellent artists that dont watermark thats becuse they are already established and everyone knows who they are and just a look to that images tells who made it, even some big companys watermark theyr concept art and theyr art.

plus i have never seen your works or whatever all ive seen from you is bringing down someones images comparing them to big artists, someone that is learning doesnt need to be compared to someone that has been doing art for over 10 years or 5 years you comparing them to other excelent artist makes no sense at all even if some great artist doesnt watermark ther will be another great artist that watermarks it.

plus your comparison to wonderland makes no sense since wonderland is an asset product and not an image, anyone that sells it can have problems, and this image its just that an image selling it or not will not lead to nothing, you like to compare things alot.

I'm not really in either camp on this. Whether or not someone watermarks an image is a personal choice. Personally I find watermarks/signatures, unless done discreetly, detract the viewing experience and overall aesthetics of an image, but I understand why some people would want to tag their pictures. It's not an issue I would get combative about.

As Adam said that would be one of the cases where identifying the creator would be appropriate Kat. Don't mind Adam I'm sue he didn't mean to diss you personally.
