Love this! My brain is having a hard time to completely catch her pose 🙂
The skin looks quite good, and I don't remember having ever seen this kind of skin before, is she a G8 gal?
Also, have you dabbled with Photoshop? It can give you a lot of control over lighting without having to re-render stuff, if needed.
July 16, 2024 at 7:58 pm #2083469I have to load the scene again, but it is Rachel HD G9
I used ANvariousbodymorph, that makes the pose look strange.
Skin I always fiddle about with translucency colour and weight till I get something I like, try different sliders at times, so no way to tell how i got therePS is like standard tool , but I do not want to do postwork on pic. It is sport to get it right with just DS, and you know, that is a challange at times ( if you do not want to use an X amount of ghostligts)
July 16, 2024 at 8:07 pm #2083474Like most of it. Just not a fan of the background style.
July 16, 2024 at 8:11 pm #2083475what would you have used instead?
July 16, 2024 at 8:43 pm #2083478Nice image. A bit dark...I could only really see it when I opened the full size.
Hey! I just noticed that when I change the site to dark theme, I can see the picture OK.July 17, 2024 at 12:14 am #2083502It's mostly how it looks. I think its the style you chose. To me it looks like it has no depth and more like an old painted movie set than a real room.
It may be an actual room but that's how my brain processes the image. Like the last image you said you had a specific style in mind.
July 17, 2024 at 5:04 am #2083519Thanks for the info Gaver. I like this how it is.
But, I understand you like the challange in taming Daz lights, you certainly have more patience than me in that regard, I always went photoshop 🙂
July 19, 2024 at 8:40 pm #2083843I like it! Maybe bring her hair down on the right side (her left) with Mesh Grabber, posing morphs or DForce (I personally haaaate DForce hair however, I only try to simulate once or twice).
Do you remember your camera parameters?
I wonder how it might look with the camera pulled back a little with a different focal length and width.
I would try bringing the young lady higher up in the shot, however the back of the sofa would cut off some of the items in the background (I like that lamp, clock and the windows, though a teeny bit of DOF might reduce the roughness of the windowpane textures).
I spend hours staring at the same render I'm setting up so I do not notice certain things until after postwork and have to start over again!

You are not the only oneJuly 20, 2024 at 2:47 am #2083876Most dforce hair doesn't work well. @Frank22. Recommended a good one but I forgot the name. I found a few others that work well but I always forget them. Maybe one day I'll put them in their own folder.
