Yup, pour a 40 on the sidewalk for good 'ol ShareCG.
They went and ripped the heart out, all I'm getting now is PHP errors because the directories and database are deleted. The domain is still alive, but has been gutted.

Odd getting older and seeing everything and everyone you grew up with go bye-bye. Only thing worse is seeing it corrupted or suffer. Hope those thoughts brighten your day.

Welp, there's always Blender, finally getting its muscles and buff curves... Daz is stroked out in a wheelchair and Max is mumbling in a straightjacket in the corner. I can't even find Poser's headstone, but it doesn't really matter anyway. We weren't close.

It's up, but it now has a pop-out that redirects you to the notice about it closing.

Also, once you log in, you can't download anything. I hit a few sample items, but it seems stuck in a login loop.

Oddly yes, it's back up, but still broken. You can't log in, and I see a PHP session error complaining of no space left on disk. Poor neglected server...

Personally, I have everything I want out of it up until the past 3-4 months, but only because I hadn't thought to stop by there in that long. I'd been downloading from it since at least 2011 or so.

Also, a thought: A lot of these items in ShareCG may be mirrored on Renderosity in their Free Stuff section, since oftentimes the same people who post to one post to the other.

(though in days gone by, Renderosity defaulted to the ShareCG download URL, so...)
