    First render with Octane, so kept it simple ( lots of sliders) . Did a compare with I-ray...

    I think it will come down to personal preference really.

    IRay gets my vote.

    IIRC Octane is actually an older render engine, originally on RDNA?

    The light looks more natural in the octane render. @gaver, did you leave the camera headlamp on for the iray version?

    Autoheadlight is turned off standard, so the light is from HDRI
