Depends a bit when this happened. Given that noone looks at all posts all the time, give a day or two before the complaint gets read. Then give the original uploader a few days (is it still 7 days?) to fix the broken links - not sure if they used to give you points back or not before the post is considered lost, and put on the re-upload list. But if it has been days, send a message directly to one of the mods.
I NEVER got any points back, but... I did not really cared xDDD

Problem is uploader didnt send us new link 🙁
And its not possible for us to keep all the file backup
we keep as much we can and fixed them when any one report ..

I'm working on trying to fix all my posts, I just need to FIND them all, so I know what I uploaded, and then I can put them all back up in the new mega account I created for them, since my old one apparently got tagged by SOMEONE, and had everything removed from it. I posted in the repost list on the forums the ones I had temporarily repaired by re-uploading to the same place, so that the existing links that still remained would still work, but I have a whole lot of detective work to do, to reassemble my posts. I AM working on it though.
reaally you got the points back? HOW? 😀 Maybe I got the points back, but didnt checked? I just report the product as broken and ask in the forum or the person to send me a new download.
hmm... well I dont have that much problems with points, because I have so much I dont care on the lost points 🙂

It is not just having enough points to not care about them.
If a system to report problem items is provided, it should work.
But, as you state [and others - myself included] after submitting the broken link notification - go on holiday, wait for Xmas, your next birthday.. end of universe, then maybe a new link or refund will occur.
[Usually a PM to Hunter will get a refund if no chance of new link]
As Hunter says, maybe the OP needs to face a penalty as well.There does not seem to be an incentive to respond - even though the OP still has the 'purchase points'.
I know that I have reported items, and been ignored, by members that are still active and posting now - but so long ago that can't remember the items.
If they have no penalty, they can be quite happy collecting points without providing working links - what do they care... ?
🙂hmmm.... the most helpful would be when the post get fixed and I get a PM with the correct working product or a info that I can now get it, thats better as those 50points I paid.
