Once again, I'm asking for help! I don't understand where these problems come from! I just changed the operating system (Windows 10 Pro x64) and installed DS 4.21.
This cute character was based on a G8, skin from a G3 model . The problem is that you can't see the makeup, after applying .
In the preview the makeup is visible, but when I run the preview through my GeForce GTX 1050 ti video card, nothing happens.
I also run the renderer. Nothing has changed!
This is wildly annoying because this has never happened before.
Please help me to figure it out! 🙏August 22, 2023 at 6:15 am #2016807If it's a geoshell makeup, adjust the geoshell offset in parameters. If you have multiple geoshells with the same offsets then only one will show. Toggled on\off the other geoshells to test it. It could also be that the figure's displacement/normal maps are pushing through the geoshell.

I used this product - Artistic Make-Up Concepts For Genesis 8 Females
It doesn't have geoshells in it!And before that, I tried to use this makeup - Extreme Closeup: Makeup For Genesis 3 Female

Try updating your video card drivers, if you can see it with CPU only, and not your GPU, it must be a driver issue.August 22, 2023 at 8:40 pm #2017056Check you L.I.E Settings on the face surface in (surfaces tab > Editor > "g8f model name" > Face) look for any parameter that is using a image in the Face Surface (probably Base Color, Translucency, or Overlay) you will then hover over the ~32X32px image preview and LEFT Click it. a menu will pop up. in the menu you should see an option called "Layered Image Editor" you will want to click that. in here you can change the layer order of overlays and their opacity, and blend modes. if this isn't the issue. check to see if the makeup overlay is on the translucency weight or color property in surfaces, if so make sure the weight of the translucency layer is not 0 if it is 0 or not maxed out, try changing it, other then this i don't know what else to do
