I've been giving daz studio a try for the past few weeks, but i'm facing a problem. As in the title, i'm using dicktator/futalicious on my characters, but i have no idea of how to make them collide with clothes, instead of poking through. The workaround i've been using is to add a d-former in that area, but it's tedious and always looks a bit off, especially if there are multiple layers (ie underwear + pants), so i was wondering if there was a way for clothes to properly interact with them.

edit: thanks for all the replies, i'm gonna try all the suggested methods and see what works best.

Have you downleaded Fit control? It's a much easier way to get the bulge in clothes. https://zonegfx.com/fit-control-bundle-with-add-ons-8-1-update/

Unfortunately I don't know of a better method

One surefire way to fix it is by creating a custom morph in Blender. Use diffeomorphic to bring over your posed character + clothing. Make sure you send them over in base res, so you can create a morph later. In blender use the sculpt tool on the clothing to cover the geograft how you see fit. The inflate, smoothing and grab brush will all be helpful here. After that's done, select the clothing and export to .obj. Apply the morph to the original clothing in Daz using morph loader pro.

The problem is that daz considers genitals as a wearable, just like shoes, glasses, shirts, etc. And there is not way to fit something on a wearable. When stacking wearables (say a jacket over a shirt), it if there is no ad-hoc morph, there are means to use features like a push modifier for small displacements in order to avoid pokes.
Concerning male bulges, it is more difficult. Some cloth vendors (like OoT) provide specific morphs. There are also morphs in the fit control asset as stated by Dimer. Otherwise, is probably better 1/ to remove or hide the gens when they are under a cloth, and 2/ to make more or less realistic deformations of the pant with a d-former, mesh grabber, an external modelling program, etc.

One way I would do it is to create a geoshell on the character after you put the genitals. It will encompass most grafts as well, I've used it for breastacular. Position the genitals close to the body, then use either fit control or mesh grabber to pull the clothes out before colliding the clothes with the geoshell. Should make it easier at least.

    Apply the clothes.
    Render
Change clothes to collide with dictator adding smoothing modifier if necessary.
    Do spot render.
Layer in photoshop or graphics program of your choice.

There is a new char posted recently here and, if I understand properly its description, it includes a gen *morph*

I do not know if his gen morph can be applied to other chars independently of the body, but if it can be done, this should provide a way to add bulge to collide with a pant.
